Blueman is a fictional character created to promote the Blue Army, and is inspired by Batman. He is also known by the nicknames, 'The Cyan Crusader' and 'The Aqua Avenger'. As of the aftermath of Revelation, Blueman is going to be rebooted.
Fictional Character Biography[]
Jason Cobolt was the son of Anthony and Martha Cobolt, rich millionaires living on the outskirts of Sapphire City. He was a courageous youth who was not afraid to stand up for what was right. However, his peaceful world was shattered when the supervillian Red Menace killed his parents. Wishing to seak revenge, Jason travelled for years abroad, learning all forms of manhunting, combat and science. He returned to Sapphire City, now held firmly in the grip of Red Menace. Jason decides to fight against him as his opposite, Blueman.
Publication History[]
During the beginning of Project Freelancer's Red vs Blue training programs, several mascots were created to help the cause of both sides. Lawrence G. Church created Blueman, and wrote several comics distributed among Blue Army. When popularity among the idiots increased, Blueman was made into a movie, Blueman. When that became an sucess, there where more sequels, Blueman Returns, Blueman Forever and Blueman & Azure which introduced his young sidekick.
After the conclusion of Revelation, the UNSC revealed plans to make a Blueman reboot movie and comic, the movie being called Blueman Begins.
