Episode 2: The Nesting Theory[]
Church leaned against the wall as Caboose looked through the sniper rifle. Occasionally Caboose would let him look through, and Church would be disturbed by what he saw.
Over at the Red-now-Yellow base, a kindly Sarge was feeding a active, technological Grif oreos. Meanwhile, Donut was in the background working on the Warthog with Lopez, who could speak English.
Church had been leaning against the wall for over five hours.
"What are they doing?" he asked, aware of the paradox that was about to unfold.
"What?" Caboose responded.
"What are they doing?"
"Man, I'm getting so sick of that question."
"Well, you have the sniper, I can't see crap, so don't whine at me-"
"They're just standing there, and talking. That's all they ever do. It was the same five minutes ago, so when you ask me five minutes from now, the answer's gonna be the same."
"Hey, guys," Tucker's voice echoed over the hills, "the General stopped by, and picked up the flag."
Church's blood ran cold. This couldn't be happening.
But it was.
